Introduction to Classes

Pak Mei Kung Fu

Founded by a monk called Pak Mei about 300 years ago. It is an internal style that emphasises short punches and the power of the fist. It belongs to Southern Shaolin Fist, with very fierce forms which promote self-defence applications.

Simplified Tai Chi

We practice 24 styles of simplified Tai Chi adopted by the Chinese Wu Shu Association. Simplified Tai Chi is good for the treatment of minor disease, blood circulation and exercise for the muscles.

Chen Style Tai Chi

It is the oldest and most traditional form of Taiji. Apart from exercising, it also serves a defensive purpose. Combining the hard and the soft in an eloquent style. It involves alot of power in practice.

Push Hands and Self Defence

A basic training for self-defence and protection.

Weapons

Chinese traditional weapons include the double sword, tonfa, kwandao, staff, stool, tiger fork and twin-hook among others.

Qi Gung

We set our training based on Qi Gung for well being and health.

Lion and Dragon Dance

They are traditional Chinese arts performed on important dates to emphasise festive atmosphere.
